Hard-boiled eggs are rolled down a hill. Customs differ from place to place. The winner?s egg may be the one that rolls the farthest, or survives the most rolls, Easter time is synonymous with springtime, renewal & beginning. Easter giving after the Christian period of Lent is a joyous time, Sunshine returns with longer days, colours vibrate in the abundance of light, trees sprout leaves and wildlife takes full advantage. Easter above all seasons is a real time to rejoice and wonder at our world while reflecting on our place within it. Easter is a family time with gifting of flowers, chocolate eggs & seasonal plants.
