The spelling "whisky" & "whiskey" are used correctly as the words are an import from colonial times; American and Irish whiskey while Scottish & Canadian whisky is correct. There are two forms of Whisky Malt & Grain. Malts are individual of single distilling while grain whiskies are cheaper and sometime bolstered with malts for flavour.
