Catalunya Faustino Rioja Spanish Red Wine Gift

Three strong red wines from with that Spanish flair. The first bottle is a Faustino V11 Rioja with A bright, intense cherry-red wine with a tawny rim. Intense aroma with fine toasty notes from the oak and hints of red berries against a light background of stewed fruit. Notes of vanilla and spices contributed by the oak during cask ageing. The second bottle a Montecelo Rioja is a young wine and much lighter in body that the first Faustino but with full fruity aromas blackcurrant, red fruits strawberry and pleasant soft tannins. The final wine is a Crianza from Catalunya blending tempranillo and cabernet sauvignon grapes aged for five years, and is full of dark berry fruit with a good tannins and balance. As with most Spanish wines there is that wonderful hint of aromatic spice here, this nicely well rounded rich berry and plum fruity red is good with game, lamb and cheeses
