The Classical Spanish Wine Selection includes, Marques de Caceres - Rioja Marques de Caceres - Rioja The Spanish Quality Red Wine. A Spanish wine of exceptional quality. This wine is served in the Spanish Parador hotels that if you have every stayed in one of these fantastic historic building will know are recommendation enough. Each bottle carries its own number as authentication. Marqués de Cáceres, has a distinctively bright-red ruby color. On the nose is a bouquet of black cherries-blackberries with soft hints of aromatic herbs ,bay, rosemary, marjoram and lavender. In the mouth is the wine fresh and fruity with fruits like cherries, strawberries, raspberries notes of cinnamon mingle and silky-smooth tannins linger. Marques is a perfect accompaniment to Mediterranean cuisine paella risotto, tapas patatas bravas, gambas, calamares, and riñones, olives, ham, chorizo, cheeses, made from sheep and goat’s milk. The second wine is a Campo Viejo Reserve Rioja. Spanish Reserva Rioja by Campo Viejo. This red wine is aged for a minimum of 18 months in oak casks and 18 months in the bottle. Made from Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelo grapes. Good structure with velvety texture combining flavours of ripe fruit and vanilla. Perfect for roast lamb, beef, pasta and chicken. Alcohol 13% by volume. Our final selection for this august trio is a Torres Gran Coronas Reserva. Spanish Wine of distinction. Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo are the grapes that bestow nobility onto Gran Coronas, this wine has a deep red hue, ochre through to brick-red tones evident from ageing. This is a rich, sensual wine where aromas typical of the grape mesmerise with flavours reminiscent of red and black berries cherries blackcurrants, coffee beans, liquorice while underlying all this vanilla and leather notes seep into the conciousness. In the mouth the wine is full and silky, dense, well-structured with tannins. Excellent.
