The Glenlivet Archive is a 21 year old Pure Single Scotch Whisky, this is a glorious single malt. First you admire the rich dark amber copper colour which sparkles in the light. with then the nose, savour its complex aromas of malted barley and oak, then on the palate where the greatness is fully revealed. A fuller description is Colour - Amber with sparkling copper shades. Nose mature. With sherry influence fruit and wood, Sultanas. Maraschino pepper. Hints of tropical woods and spice, Citrus Orange. All these notes play with the senses. On the PalateFull-bodied. Fruity sultana, ginger, Oak holds and a hinted spiciness. Cinnamon paprika then hints of walnut and raisins with dark chocolate. To finish: warm, toasted hazelnuts and ligering liquorice. The very flower of scotch malt whisky. 70cl 43% by volume.
