Brewed by Nick Stafford under the white chalk horse of the Hambleton Hills bordering the North Yorkshire Moors where exceptionally pure quality water runs to the rivers and Sea. This fantastic water prized by many a brewery including all those at Tadcaster and the Black Sheep breweries at Masham, holds the key to this most excellent brew. The secrets of the fine flavours and complex ale in these bottles are only briefly shared with us who drink it. But the specially prepared non malt dark sugars provide full bodied tawny ale. The aromas of which cascade liberty and challenger hops used in the brewing giving pronounced fruity and citrus flavours. This Ale has a complex flavours and aroma which those who judge demand of a fine British Ale. Recommended.
