A wine made with select Montepulciano grapes. Genuine strong Red colour, delicate bouquet, full-bodied, slightly floral and harmonic flavour. All characteristics combining to make a great red wine, great with roasts, game and lamb. Wine three Mareemma Toscana a Super Tuscan wine grown in a wonderful location the grape hass soft tannins, succulent acidity and moderately intense cherry and herb flavors very easy to drink as well as supremely versatile at the dinner table with a nose,and colour including, spices, fruit, balance, earthy, bell pepper, green, resinous, mute, open, fresh, lean, - medium, red fruit, floral, tarts, spicy. Wine four. The Salice Salentino Reserva wine withits robust and rustic flavour including dried figs prune is accompanied with a creamy bitter-chocolate character, balanced by moderate acidity and smoky oak, with superb length. This is a little known wine outside of Italy and a real gem for the wine drinker unaduterated as it is with the sins of overproduction and poor control. An excellent wine. Wine five Is a Piccini Chianti Riserva, Gran Selezione Oro, Piccini (2005)Originating in Tuscany from the Sangiovese grape. Piccini is a major producer of this wine This wine from the impressively titled Sangiovese has an enveloping, velvety and spicy nose with violet highlights. It’s well structured, with crunchy red fruit punching through the smoothly textured palate, most excellent. easy to drink but be careful it is 13.5% by volume.
