Puligny Montrachet 1st Cru Chateau Trimlulet Grand Cru 1999

This great white wine is unquestionably destined to honour La Haute Cuisine, Shellfish cooked in Court Bouillon, Fish sauce dishes and Chicken liver pate. The exquisite taste of white blossoms, honey aromas, the delicate balance and structure on the mellow qualities all with that and a Chateau Trimmcharacteristic long finish. A little history and placement: At the heart of C'te de Beaune is Puligny-Montrachet, a village of contradictions, it looks like a Paris superb, well-maintained, The thing is that to occupants have moved on and the town now is either full of tourists or grape pickers. The grapes from this area are so important and what is better or is it worse that the grape is more important than the community. If we must judge relative merits of the Burgundy vineyards, Puligny-Montrachet is to white wine what Vosne-Roman'e is to red. Its character speaks so eloquently of its origins. Almost all of the great chardonnay grand crus of the C'te de Beaune are within the boundaries of Puligny , strictly speaking and since 1879 Puligny-Montrachet which is an epicentre of great chardonnay. While Puligny is on another level to similar wines from French, a bottle of Puligny-Montrachet is quite simply outstanding as a wine of character Puligny Montrachet 1st Cru Sos Le Puits and a bottle of Chateau Trimoulet Grand Cru 1999 Saint Emilin Chateau Trimoulet Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Vintage 1999. This wonderful Chateau wine has been produced by the same family for over 200 years. 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet, this wine has a deep cherry colour and pronounced aromas of soft fruit. Supple elegant, full bodied and a long silky finish. A real wine to be savoured. Also included is Chateau Trimoulet Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Vintage 1999. This wonderful Chateau wine has been produced by the same family for over 200 years. The Chateau Trimoulet Grand Cru from Saint-'milion gathers up great bunches of fresh violets into a massive bouquet that heightens the rich plum fruit when the wine is tasted. This wine has a deep, dark, garnet colour with purple overtones. A Robust wine with an almost hidden aroma of cigar box, musty earth, toffee, dried cherries followed by traces of rose petal, currant, dark woodland fruits, leather and cedar. The finish is long and rustic. Saint Emilion wines are considered the most robust of the Bordeaux. They are generous, very colored, and reach their maturity quicker than other red Bordeaux. Saint-Emilion is the oldest wine area of the Bordeaux region. The UNESCO organization recognized the great terroir of Saint Emilion and put the site on the World Heritage List.The classification in St-Emilion is complex. Do not confuse St.-Emilion-Grand-Cru and St.-Emilion-Grand-Cru-Class' fewer and much better.
