Three French White Wines
The Three French White Wines Gift includes a bottle of Viognier white wine, Viognier is a rare type of grape brought to Condrieu, on the northern Rhône, over 2,000 years ago Viognier is becoming a favoured white wine, for depth of character and complexity. Viognier is noted for spice, floral, citrus, apricot, apple and peach flavours while medium bodied with relatively high acids and fruit. The next bottle is a J P Chennet Colombard-Chardonnay from the Cote de Gascogne always fresh and expressive and from Southwest France. producing fine and aromatic white wines from Colombard and Chardonnay varieties. This wine has a very light yellow aspect with green reflections, delicate nose and floral fruity pear, citrus aromas, easy to drink and very well-balanced. The final wine is from the famous vineyards in the Cotes de Gascogne and is a well balanced slightly dry fruity wine with touches of apple, pear and lemon flower.
