Six White Wine Gift

These six white wines all of outstanding pedigree have been selected for this years Fine White Wine Six Special. The first Wine is a Classic Wine the Chablis, Chablis is a white Burgandy wine world reknowned as one of the great classic French White Wines of all time. This Chablis was bottled for Louis Chevallier Nuits-Saint_George-Cote D'or and is from the Hill Vineyards in the most northern regions of Burgandy, Made from the Chardonnay grape locally known as "Beaunois". Seve this wine chilled but not iced and drink with Oysters Shellfish river & sea fish Ldeal with light poultry meats and creamy cheese. Each bottle is numbered by the Appellation Chablis Controlee. The next wine is a Kumala Chenin Blanc Chardonnay from South Africa, A fresh and attractive medium dry wine with lively tropical fruit aromas including guava, pineapple and citrus. These tropical fruit flavours also continue on the finish and the wine has a good structure from the gentle French oak ageing. Serve chilled to heighten the crisp, fresh fruit characters. Our third wine selection is the Lindemans Chardonnay from Australia, a world brand which still offers complex flavours. Serve with paella or salmon. This Chardonnay is a blend of fruit from cool and warm Australian vineyards ' a complex wine balancing ripe fruit flavours such as melon with crisp cooler climate acidity of lime and citrus fruit. Oak ageing gives the wine a nice creamy texture. The fourth wine is a genuine Italian Pinot Grigo is soft, creamy and full Pinot Grigio from the Collio hills which border on Slovenia. Excellent food wine, with a surprisingly crisp finish. Lively notes of pea and even hay. The fifth wine is a Casillero del Diablo from Chile a wine light yellow in colour with ripe apricot, peach and vanilla pod aromas. The palate is mellow with sweet oak, apricot and custard flavours that drift into a long finish. Finally and our sixth entrant is a White Rioja from Faustino VII Rioja Blanc a wine of pale colour with gleams of ripe white viura grapes. An aroma that is both fruity and floral. On the palate, it is tasty in the mouth, rich in nuances, with a persistent aftertaste. Lightly tangy. Altogether a balanced view of wthe world's white wines to be enjoyed.
