Mother's Days in various parts of the world
Mother's Day is celebrated on different days throughout the world. "Mother’s Day" occurs around the world at different times in different countries: In the UK, much of the English speaking world, many of the Commonwealth countries including Australia and New Zealand, and Canada, while many Island around the World including Caribbean and Mediterrain Islands, plus many Baltic countries all celebrate Mothers Day or Mothering Sunday in 2009 is on 22nd March. In the USA and a large part of the rest of the World 2009 has Mothers Day or Mothering Sunday on 10th May. Norway is an exception being on 8th February 2009. France and some North African countries have their Mothers Day or Mothering Sunday in 2009 on May 31st. Spain & Portugal celebrate Their Mothers Day on 3rd May 2009. In some countries on the fourth Sunday in Lent, and others on the second Sunday in May. There are individual countries which link Mother’s day with Women’s day and Parent’s day
